Bathroom Renovations

Bathrooms with
the details right.

From powder rooms to spa-like primary ensuites, we design and build bathrooms that perform every day. Frameless glass, large-format tile, finishes that hold up to humidity and time.

A space that
has to perform.

Bathrooms are where renovation details show. Tile lines that don't quite meet. Caulk that yellows in a year. Glass shower walls that bow because the studs were not blocked. The flaws that contractors miss in living rooms become impossible to hide in a bathroom. We renovate bathrooms with that fact in mind.

Every Dagher Group bathroom starts with a waterproofing and substrate plan. Schluter or Wedi systems. Proper backer board. Membrane installation. Then the visible details follow. Large-format porcelain, marble effect tiles, frameless glass enclosures, premium fixtures.

We handle powder rooms, family bathrooms, and primary ensuites with the same standards. Same attention to ventilation, lighting, and storage. Same level of finish.

Every layer,
done properly.

Bathroom renovations fail when one of the layers is rushed. We treat every layer as essential, from the membrane up to the finish.

Before, during,
delivered.

A single bathroom captured at three stages. The starting point, the work mid-construction where the layers that matter most get done, and the finished result. Same room, different reality.

01
Before
Bathroom before renovation, original layout and dated finishes

The starting point

Original layout and finishes past their prime. A bathroom that worked, but no longer fit the home. Every visible surface a candidate for replacement.

02
Mid Construction
Bathroom mid construction, demolition complete and waterproofing installed

Down to the bones

Demolition complete. Plumbing rerouted. Waterproofing membrane installed. The invisible layers that decide whether a bathroom lasts ten years or thirty.

03
Final
Bathroom delivered, large format tile and frameless glass

Delivered

Large-format tile, frameless glass, fixtures and finishes that hold up to daily use. The same footprint, reimagined as a space worth coming home to.

"Same room, different reality." That is the brief we work to on every renovation.

For your bathroom.

A bathroom done right hides the work that matters most. Our standards live in the layers homeowners never see.

01

Schluter Certified Tile Setters

Our tile partners are trained in proper waterproofing and substrate prep. The membrane is right before the tile goes on.

02

Frameless Glass Specialists

Walls plumbed and blocked properly during framing so frameless glass installs without bowing or alignment issues.

03

Proper Ventilation

Exhaust fans vented to exterior, never into the attic. Sized correctly for the bathroom volume. Moisture damage prevention starts here.

04

Level 5 Drywall Finish

Bathroom walls require the highest finish standard because side lighting reveals every flaw. We finish to the standard the lighting demands.

Common questions.

The questions we hear most often when planning a bathroom.

How long does a bathroom renovation take?
+

A powder room runs 1 to 2 weeks. A standard bathroom takes 2 to 4 weeks. A primary ensuite with custom features can run 4 to 6 weeks. Tile drying time and material lead times can extend timelines, which we account for in scheduling.

Can I add a freestanding tub if I currently have a built-in?
+

In most cases yes, but it depends on plumbing access, floor structure, and bathroom size. Freestanding tubs require specific plumbing rough-in, often through the floor, and the floor structure needs to support the additional weight when filled. We assess feasibility during the design phase.

How do I keep the rest of my house dust-free during a bathroom reno?
+

Floor protection runs from the front door through to the bathroom. Door zippers and plastic sheeting at the bathroom entrance contain dust at the source. HEPA vacuums during demo. Daily cleanup. Most clients find the disruption minimal compared to the benefit.

What's the difference between framed and frameless glass showers?
+

Frameless uses thicker tempered glass with minimal hardware for a clean modern look. Framed uses thinner glass with metal channels, which is less expensive but dates faster. Frameless requires more precise installation and properly blocked framing. Most of our renovations specify frameless.

Can you renovate without moving the plumbing?
+

Yes, and it saves money. Keeping toilets, sinks, and showers in their existing locations avoids plumbing rerouting costs. Often we can completely transform a bathroom without changing the layout, just by upgrading every visible element.

Do you do underfloor heating?
+

Yes. Electric mat heating is the standard for bathroom floors and can be installed with most tile types. We can install in the entire floor or in specific zones like in front of the vanity and shower. Programmable thermostats let you schedule it to warm before you wake up.
